The upcoming Satura’s* theme is Holidays: The Best Time to Unleash Your Creativity. Each Satura is a potluck (no cooking demo) where we share delicious plant-based foods,* get inspired by a meaningful story, share resources to spark new ideas, and support each other as we navigate through the challenges of life.
This is the a 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮* in a series of gatherings of like-minded people who support each other on their journey toward healthy nutrition and lifestyle. * 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮 = Latin word for “plate filled with various fruits” or “dish made from a mixture of ingredients.” Beyond its original meaning, satura is a “poetic medley full of variety.” It is a metaphor for a diverse group united by a common purpose.

If you’ve not been to Wood Dale Grove Forest Preserve, you’re in for a treat! There’s a shelter, and plenty of picnic tables (appx 8′ wide…so lots of seating!) We even have a large grill to use! This is a family friendly event!
