Find Let’s Beat Breast Cancer Rally – Lockport, IL

Central Square Gazebo at Lockport City Hall
222 East 9th Street, Lockport, IL 60441

Breast cancer is the second leading cause of death among women in the United States, following heart disease. Each year, approximately 42,000 women and 500 men in the U.S. lose their lives to this disease, according to the CDC. Early detection through screening is crucial for improving outcomes.

We want our voices to be heard, so join us on Thursday, October 16th from 5–6 PM as we beat the drum for awareness and prevention right here in Lockport! The Let’s Beat Breast Cancer Campaign is a global movement promoting a powerful, four-pronged approach to breast cancer prevention.

This one-hour rally is a vibrant call to action—featuring the incredible drumlines of VanderCook Music School and Kaotic Drum Line, both from Chicago, along with Carl Sandburg High School Drumline from Orland Park, Illinois, inspiring speakers, and a strong sense of community connection.

Let’s get loud, raise awareness, and stand together in the fight against breast cancer.

This event is free and open to the public.
